MIT: Laboratory for Nuclear Security and Policy

Jill Rahon is an S.M. student in the Department of Nuclear Science and Engineering at MIT studying detection and shielding of ionizing radiation. She has a B.S. in International Strategy from the United States Military Academy at West Point. She is from New York and is an Aviation officer in United States Army, previously commanding an Air Assault helicopter company and flying CH-47D/F helicopters in Operation Enduring Freedom. Upon graduation she will return to USMA to instruct cadets and work on nuclear related issues for the Army.
