Rodney Busquim e Silva holds the positions of Nuclear Research and Development (R&D) Project Manager at the Navy Technology Center in São Paulo (Brazil) since 2008, and of Navigation Systems R&D Project Manager since 2010. He is also a Minister of Science, Technology and Innovations Commodity Identification Training’s instructor. His background in electrical engineering (University of São Paulo – USP) has led him to a number of previous positions (engineer, program coordinator and project manager) related to safety-critical systems (telecommunications, energy and fault-tolerance computer-based systems), in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, Brazil, over the last 20 years. His academic background includes a Master degree in Electrical Engineering from the USP, and two Master Degrees from MIT (Nuclear Science & Engineering and Systems Engineering).
